Paula Badosa proved strong in her first clay match of the year as the Spaniard demolished Kasatkina in straight sets 6-1 6-1 at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.
It was a really strong performance from Badosa who smashed her opponent in just over an hour. Badosa dominated from the baseline winning the majority of rallies as Kasatkina was unable to hold it down against the attacks from the Spaniard. Despite serving well, Kasatkina lost more than 50 % of points on her serve and that was trouble.
She was broken three times while having no break points herself. The second set didn't go that much differently although Kasatkina had a break point this time around. Badosa saved it and broke her opponent two times to win the set 6-1 as well. Just a really strong performance from Badosa overall.
