Genie Bouchard off to a very good start in Oeiras W100, beating Diane Parry 6-2, 6-4 to reach the 2nd round.
Making another comeback to action this week and her first appearance in Portugal since 2014, Eugenie Bouchard marked her return with victory to reach the second round at the ITF W100 in Oeiras.
Bouchard faced a tricky test in the opening round in Frenchwoman, Diane Parry but found her way through in straight sets 6-2, 6-4. Comments on the post by journalist, Jose Morgado said she was also accompanied by Venus Williams' old coach as she looks for a return to form.
Elina Svitolina also competes this week and faces rising Dane, Clara Tauson in her opening round aiming to join Bouchard in the winners' circle and on the comeback trail.
