Two names we haven't seen in a long time (Jennifer Brady and
Daria Saville) will make their returns to the sport at
Roland Garros next month.
The entry list for Roland Garros is out and we know which players will take part in the event. The only major name missing from the event is Simona Halep whose case is yet to be resolved with a couple of big names entering through the protected ranking feature. Players like Svitolina and Pavlyuchenkova are in thanks to that as are Daria Saville and
Jennifer Brady.
Saville injured her knee last year in Tokyo pretty early in her match against Naomi Osaka. It will be her first big event since the injury. Joining her will be Jennifer Brady who hasn't played much since she made the Australian Open final against Osaka as well. The American was playing her best career tennis at the time but multiple injuries left her unable to play for a long time.
