Aussie tennis star
Nick Kyrgios has hit out at the producers of television show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', telling them not to approach him to appear on their program.
During a Q&A session on Instagram, Kyrgios was asked if he would ever consider going on the TV show.
"No, people who go on that show tend not to be celebrities, anyway,' the tennis star explained, before adding, [the cast do the show as] an excuse to get money.
"They take themselves a bit too seriously because they are well known in Australia."
The Australian version of the show is currently being filmed in South Africa, and Kyrgios' harsh response seems to be aimed at certain cast members who will be appearing on the show this year.
Reality stars Domineca Calerco, who is better known for appearing on Married at First Sight, was in among the celebrities taking on the challenge. Below Deck's Aesha Scott, chef Anna Polyviou and boxer Harry Garside, who won gold for Australia at the Olympic Games are also set to appear this season.
