As the ATP heads towards the US Open, the tour will make a stop in North Carolina from August 20-26, 2023 for the Winston-Salem Open.
An ATP 250 event, the tournament will feature several top stars including Matteo Berrettini, Jack Draper and Sebastian Baez for instance all headlining the tournament. It acts as a pre-cursor in particular for the US Open.
Played on the final week before Flushing Meadows, it doesn't gleam as many top names as expected as many get to US Open early. But after Cincinnati, some top names may yet go for a wildcard to gain extra matches ala Novak Djokovic in Geneva.

Lucrative prize pool on offer

With so many talented players present, the event will offer a generous prize pool of $779,780 and 250 ATP ranking points to the winner. As this is the final tournament before the US Open, every player will be eager to make their mark before the last Grand Slam of the season. Below is the full breakdown.
