Italy tennis star Matteo Berrettini is reportedly set to propose girlfriend
Melissa Satta.
The impactful couple two have been dating for a while and as
per the recent reports, the couple are set to tie the knot.
The two are currently spending holidays together and have
posted pictures on social media platforms.
Berrettini has recently returned to his very best on the
court after having difficulties with fitness concerns.
In the recently concluded Wimbledon 2023, the world number 32
suffered a defeat in the round of 16 to current world number one and the
eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz with a score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3.
Despite not winning a Grand Slam in his career, Berrettini
has an impressive record while playing in the majors.
His best outing in the mega-events came in the 2021 edition
where he qualified for the final of Wimbledon and eventually lost to Serbia’s
Novak Djokovic with a score of 6–7(4–7), 6–4, 6–4, 6–3.
Other than that, he has also played in the semifinal of the
Australian Open (2022) and the US Open (2019).
