Roddick rubbishes debate surrounding his serve led by Mouratoglou: "My serve wasn't better than Pete, Goran, Karlovic"

Patrick Mouratoglou created a video where he talked about the best servers of all time and created a debate among some coaches and former players.

Mouratoglou shared his top 5 servers of all time putting Nick Kyrgios at number one with Isner being second, Roddick 3rd, Karlovic 4th and Sampras 5th. It got a few reactions from members of the tennis community with not all agreeing with his ranking. American tennis coach Brad Gilbert reacted to the list claiming that Sampras should be ranked higher and questioning the omission of Ivanisevic and Becker.

Roddick responded to those comments saying that his serve wasn't as good as some of the names left off:

"My serve wasn’t better than Pete, Goran, Karlovic etc ….. Also someone like Arthurs who didn’t have much else. Doesn’t mean his serve wasn’t one of the best," Andy Roddick tweeted.

Brad Gilbert added his own list to the conversation posting a list of his own tiers of best servers but he ranked it by decades not by players.
