Roger Federer has not played since Wimbledon yet the Swiss ace was able to retain his position inside the top 100 becoming the oldest player to finish inside.
Federer Federer is away from the courts currently yet the Swiss ace is determined to return to the courts and nobody should realistically count him out. Federer has broken many records in his career and he is still doing some amazing things even at the age of 40. No player played better at this age and Federer is not far removed from a stellar 2019 Wimbledon run which was impressive considering his age.
At 40 he now became the oldest player to finish in the top 100 at the 2021 year-end rankings. He finished 16 which was his 21st consecutive year of finishing inside the top 20 which is another record. All in all, there have been 31 players over the age of 30 inside the top 100 by this season's end but Federer is the oldest among them and one of the better ranked.
