The final ATP Masters 1000 event is set to start today in Paris and the Rolex Paris Masters schedule of play has 14 matches on opening day.
The final Masters event of the 2020 season starts today in Paris and the opening day schedule of play is a spectacular one featuring 14 matches. The programme will start pretty early at 11:00 CET with several interesting matches such as Coric and Fucsovics. The Croatian is playing very good tennis lately but the Hungarian is always a tricky opponent. The programme will continue later in the day and there will be plenty of interesting matches. One such is the one between Humbert and Ruud. The Frenchman won the Antwerp Open after a week of great tennis and he will look to continue that run on home soil.
The afternoon portion of the event will have another banger of a match with Auger-Aliassime taking on Cilic. The Croatian hasn't played well lately but he has fond memories of Paris where he had several deep runs. It will very tough against Auger but the Croatian will give his best. The final match of the day is set to start at 20:00 CET. It will feature a very interesting matchup between Karen Khachanov and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. The Spaniard has been playing extremely good tennis lately and his climb has been steady. He will look to continue a good run in Paris against Khachanov who is a former champion here.
