Holger Rune is not a fan of the GOAT debate and everything that follows it as he likes to focus on the overall picture and how great all of them are.
Talking about the GOAT debate is something all tennis fans enjoy particularly if you're a fan of the players involved. It's a nice topic to debate because there is no definitive answer. For most people, it's a subjective thing but Holger Rune doesn't like any talk around it at all. In a recent interview the Dane came out against it pretty strongly:
"I hate the GOAT discussion."
He explained further by wanting to focus on the total effect they had on tennis by inspiring so many to pick up the sport:
"They achieved something that is history-making. Records are there to be broken. Players like them [the Fab 4] showed us the extreme high level of tennis and this is what makes the young generation so good today".
Rune is among those that picked up the sport because of them and he feels the debate is pointless as it missed the most important point.

"I hate the GOAT discussion. They achieved something that is history making. Records are there to be broken. Players like them [the Fab 4] showed us the extreme high level of tennis and this is what makes the young generation so good today". 🎙️ Holger Rune to Express
