The Quarter-Finals are here at the Argentina Open with some quality ties to come later this evening in Buenos Aires.
It all starts off with Caspur Ruud against Dusan Lajovic. It is one of the best ties of the line-up today with the latter being third seed at the Argentina Open and the former being eighth.
Ruud defeated Roberto Carballes Baena in a 6-1, 6-0 win on Wednesday; while Lajovic saw off Pedro Martinez Portero in a closely fought 7-6, 7-6 win. Expect similar tonight.
Then it turns to Guido Pella, the second seed who takes on Juan Ignacio Londero. The former came through a real ‘slugfest’ in his Last 16 tie while Londero continued his exceptional run with a defeat of Laslo Djere.
The duo are known as home favourites and they will likely dazzle again when given the opportunity.
Then finally its Diego Schwartzman, the number one seed taking on Pablo Cuevas. The former had issues getting past Federico Delbonis while similar to the Pella match, Cuevas continues to cause upsets. Could it be a night of upsets?
