Diego Schwartzman has revealed that he fears testing positive for COVID-19 ahead of
Roland Garros which starts on Sunday.
Schwartzman reached the final at the Italian Open in Rome and as a result, he has admitted he has fears ahead of reaching Paris.
All players arriving in Paris have to isolate and wait for a negative test result before being allowed to practice and so the wait is on for the Argentinian.
“I’m worried about the first COVID-19 test, really,” said Schwartzman “Right now it’s the worst thing you can do in the tournament. You are waiting, you can’t sleep because maybe it’s a false, maybe not, and you don’t know if you are going to play the tournament.”
