The 2020 ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament is held annually in Rotterdam. Netherlands and this year's edition will feature a group of exciting young ATP talent including Daniel Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Denis Shapovalov.

The young Canadian will be seeded eighth and squares off against 2017 Nitto ATP Finals champion Grigor Dimitrov in what should be the marquee matchup of the day. The Bulgarian holds a 1-0 career lead over Shapovalov, with the two meeting at the 2016 ATP Masters 1000 Canada. Dimitrov triumphed 6-4 6-3 but odds are their encounter will be much more evenly contested this time.
Sixth seed Roberto Bautista Agut faces off against Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, who put on a decent performance against Roger Federer at this year's Australian Open. This will be the pair's first meeting, as both men will look to bounce back after the year's first Grand Slam.
Frenchman Adrian Mannarino will meet Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta in another intriguing matchup. Carreno Busta overcame the World No.45 in their sole previous encounter at the 2018 Barcelona Open, relying on a third set tiebreaker to secure the victory.
In the final match of the day, Great Britain's Daniel Evans faces journeyman Philipp Kohlschreiber. Evans defeated the German in their only ATP Tour-level meeting at the 2014 Zagreb Open 6-4 2-6 6-4. Neither player relies solely on power or speed, indicating this matchup could be more cerebral in nature.
