Jack Sock has claimed his first Top 50 win since 2018 at the Indian Wells ATP Challenger event which acts as a precursor for the main event and he has defeated Ugo Humbert in the process.

Humbert who is ranked 42nd and was the number one seed in the tournament lost out in a 7-6, 6-4 defeat and this means that Sock reaches the third round at Indian Wells.

He has already moved up to #660 in the world after being down at #768 at the start of the week and next up will be another seed in Evgeny Donskoy (#13) after he downed Kaichi Uchida in the first round.

It all comes after he claimed his first win in over a year recently on the ATP Tour against Radu Albot at the Delray Beach Open and after so many injury worries, he will hope this could be a turning point.
