Stefanos Tsitsipas kicks off his Paris Masters campaign with win over Evans

The victory was a rather straightforward one for Tsitsipas who eased into the next round with a 6-3 6-4 performance against Evans.

Evans never beat Tsitsipas before and he really did not stand a chance here either. The Greek player demonstrated comfortability with the conditions in Paris attacking well and using his serve and volley to shorten points.

He served well hitting 8 aces and added 28 winners to the performance that won him the match in straight sets. Evans played well as well but he was unable to create much pressure on Tsitsipas generally in the match.

All of those winners came in points when it didn't really matter as Tsitsipas took an early lead in both sets and cruised easily to the finish line. The Greek rebounded well from his loss to Coric as he hopes to finish off the year in strong fashion.
