FOUR DAYS TO GO! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Only four days until @Taylor_Fritz97 takes to the court in what promises to be an epic night of tie breaks! 💪 #TieBreakTens #EveryPointCounts
The Tie Break Tens in Dubai will take place in a few days in Dubai and it will be the first time this event has visited the Middle East. It will be held on October 22nd at the Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk. Fritz and Brown join French ace Gaël Monfils and British No.1 Dan Evans in the line-up, with further big names set to be confirmed shortly.
Fritz recently had the biggest achievement of his career at Indian Wells where he reached the semifinal. He will look to transform some of that form from the American desert into the Dubai one in order to secure that cash prize for the winner. Brown nicknamed ‘Dreddy’ because of his dreadlocks, is a great favourite with crowds for his entertaining style of play and frequent use of trick shots. He is also one of only two players who can claim a 100 per cent win record against Rafael Nadal with one of those wins coming at Wimbledon.
This event has a distinct format where players compete in a tiebreak format with the winner being the player who gets 10 points first. It's a 250.000 cash prize for the winner as it's a winner-takes-all event. Players enjoy it and it's a quick and funny event that brings a lot of joy to fans as the stakes are so high.
