Cameras and microphones picked up Frances Tiafoe referring to Stefanos Tsitsipas as 'Greek Yogurt' and fans were not happy.
During their Laver Cup clash, Tiafoe was spotted reffering to Stefanos Tsisipas as Greek Yogurt saying:
"I want all that Greek Yogurt"
One day after the match it was reposted by Eurosport with the caption of what Tsitsipas said and Nick Kyrgios took notice. He responded with:
"Pause, bro" with a number of laughing emojis and Tiafoe responded to that comment with four laughing emojis of his own.
Tennis fans were not happy and they blasted the duo for 'bullying' Tsitsipas. One fan wrote:
"Frances Tiafoe is still laughing at his bullying and doesn't seem to regret it as can be seen from his comment below the posted Eurosport video"
Another added:
"Yeah n if tsitsipas would have done the same PPL would cry foul for racism.tiafoe seems to do this n i m glad brooksby gave him taste f his own medicine earlier."
Another pointed out that Kyrgios commenting on it made it worse due to his Greek heritage:
"NK getting involved makes it even worse ugh"
