Daniil Medvedev had a pretty vocal episode with the umpire during his match with Tsitsipas calling out the umpire in very insulting ways.
Medvedev was unhappy with the lack of action by the umpire as the Russian was convinced Tsitsipas was getting coached. He called out the umpire during a changeover calling him many different ways. The umpire coded him for obscene language and that was the end of it for the most part. Medvedev did not complain much further as Tsitsipas eventually got coded for 'coaching.
The Russian shook hands with the umpire and apologized which was good to see. Jim Courier asked the Russian about it and he said:
"I don't think bad emotions help me too much. You lose concentration, you lose too much energy. As soon as I done it, it was a big mistake but I'm happy I refocused."
Tsitsipas reacted to his coaching penalty by shaking heads and after the match, the Greek said that he does not pay attention to things like that.
