Holger Rune stunned Novak Djokovic at the Rome Open and former player Andy Roddick was very impressed with the kind of match the Dane put together.
Rune has beaten Novak Djokovic before he did it recently at the Rome Open but there was something different this time around. He dominated Djokovic and pushed him around in conditions that generally don't allow you to do that easily. It was wet, it was slow, yet Rune found a way to consistently outperform Djokovic and Roddick was very impressed with that.
He said:
“Rune is changing the conversation from 'This is what I believe I can do' to 'This is what I'm actually capable of & here are the facts of my accomplishments' To bully Novak around the court in wet conditions is not the easiest thing to do, I promise you”
Many are impressed with what he's been showing lately and some consider him among the favourites for Roland Garros.
