Jo-Wilfried Tsonga received lots of praise from the tennis community due to his return from injury in 2019.

Tsonga was nominated for 2019 ATP Comeback Player of the Year; which was won by Andy Murray but fears occurred when he retired injured at the Australian Open.
Despite that though he revealed that it will only be a few weeks away from the court for him; but this has meant withdrawals in future events in Dubai, Marseille and Rotterdam.
"Hello everyone, Following my withdrawal from the Australian Open, tests revealed an inflammation in the back which will unfortunately take me away from the tennis court in the coming weeks. A little rest to return quickly and without pain!" said Tsonga on Twitter.
