VIDEO: Best of Denis Shapovalov in 2020

After winning his first ATP title in 2019, Denis Shapovalov confirmed his qualities also during the 2020 season.

Although, the young Canadian failed to win a title during the short 2020 season, he still produced some extraordinary tennis. Shapovalov was successful at only a few tournaments, but when he was, he showed his A game.

He started the year with victories over Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev at the 2020 ATP Cup, he also got to the 3rd set tie-break against Djokovic at the same tournament. Shapovalov failed to produce another great display before the ATP Tour suspension.

However, his come back after the suspension was great. He reached the US Open quarterfinals and directly after that semifinals in Rome where he lost to Diego Schwartzman in the third set tie-break. Shapovalov also reached semifinals in St. Petersburg before losing the final 4 matches of the season. You can watch some of his best shots from 2020 in the video below.
