Alcaraz’s drop shot secret explained 🤣
Tennis TV shared a video of Carlos Alcaraz practicing his dropshots with an interesting challenge.
The World No. 2 is the top seed at the Shanghai Open due to Novak Djokovic's absence. At just 20 years old, Alcaraz has developed a strong skill in hitting dropshots with precision and the ability to change the pace of the game, which few can match.
During a training session in China, Alcaraz engaged in a unique exercise where he had to accurately drop the ball into a bucket. The video shows Alcaraz attempting to hit the target, and when he succeeds, it surprises the onlookers with his precision.

2-times Grand Slam champion is eagerly awaiting his debut on the central court at the Shanghai Open this Saturday. He will be facing the 29-year-old Frenchman Gregoire Barrere (world No. 73).
Barrere advanced from the first round by comfortably defeating Portuguese player Nuno Borges (85th) with a score of 6-2, 6-2. The Frenchman is having the best year of his career, reaching world No. 49 in February and making his debut in Masters 1000 main draws only recently at Indian Wells.
Since then, he has participated in all the tournaments of this category except for Monte-Carlo, where he was eliminated in the qualifying rounds. It will be the first meeting between Carlos Alcaraz and Barrere, with Alcaraz aiming to start the tournament strongly against an opponent who has little to lose given the clear favoritism of the young Spanish star.
This is the first time that Alcaraz will be playing in Shanghai, as he skipped the Asian tour last year after winning his first Grand Slam at the US Open. In the year, he has a record of 23-4 in Masters 1000 events, with notable achievements including two titles (Indian Wells and Madrid) and a final appearance in Cincinnati (where he lost to Djokovic).
