Alex De Minaur justified his nickname of the speed demon in a sensational rally between himself and Kwon.
The semifinal in Eastbourne was played today between Alex De Minaur and Son-woo Kwon which De Minaur ended up winning 6-3 7-6(2). By doing so he reached his first career final on the grass where he will face Lorenzo Sonego. The match was a fantastic one with both players more than willing to play some good old grass-court tennis.
A rally stuck out, especially which was won by De Minaur. It featured some sensational running ability showcased by De Minaur who was flying all over the court true to his nickname of the speed demon. The demon made two trips from the baseline to the net in the end winning the point.
The point also featured a funny moment when De Minaur almost hit the net pulling himself back only by the inertia of his flailing hands. Check it out below.
