Novak Djokovic was given a warning in Astana after his racquet went flying into the crowd after a careless attempt by the Serbian.
Novak Djokovic was playing Daniil Medvedev in the Astana Open final when he made a bad judgment earning himself a warning. He tried to hit a ball that flew over his head but in trying to do so, the racquet slipped out of his flying into the crowd.
Djokovic immediately apologised for it to the crowd and to Medvedev for delaying play but the umpire handed him a warning which Djokovic felt the need to talk over. Djokovic was left confused by the explanation:
"Ridiculous. You're telling me it's not a warning, but then you give me a warning."
Djokovic wound up winning the second set and advancing after a retirement.
