Novak Djokovic expelled frustration in his match against Andrey Rublev by carelessly throwing his racquet almost hitting a ball boy.
Novak Djokovic did not have the best of days yesterday as he took on Andrey Rublev in the final and he showed his frustration a couple of times during the match. Throwing a racquet is not common for Djokovic but it's not unheard of it either. He's had a couple of notable outbursts over the years with the most prominent one being the US Open default after hitting a line judge with a ball.
During the final against Rublev, Djokovic threw his racquet out of frustration which is nothing unusual but the way he threw it left everybody in the crowd a bit speechless. It almost hit the ball boy who barely dodged it. The ball boy brought the racquet to Djokovic who did not seem remorseful about the action. He did briefly say something to the boy but he did not take a moment to properly check on him or apologize.
He did not comment on the incident after the match either. Check it out below.
