Novak Djokovic joked about switching sports and bringing his talents to cycling with a call out to the kingpin of that respective sport in Tadej Pogacar.
The 37-year-old who will return at the US Open after recently being crowned Olympic champion called out the man of the moment in the form of the 2024 Giro d'Italia and 2024 Tour de France Winner.
"Back in training. Setting new goals. Next stop, Tour de France," he captioned the video training on the bike in the forest and showing a good turn of speed once he realised the camera was on him. "I'm coming for you, Tadej Pogacar," he joked.
But it seems like they may come together for this mission. "I have a challenge: You return my serve in tennis I'll try to follow you up the mountain in a 100m sprint. He can?" said Djokovic translated from Serbian.
To which Pogecar wrote back also Moze which means he can. So maybe the two kingpins of their respective sports may combine to challenge each other. Who knows.
