Legend + rising star 🤩 Fans welcomed @DjokerNole & @janniksin yesterday to Monaco’s Larvotto Beach to launch the #RolexMonteCarloMasters
Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner played a bit of mini-tennis ahead of the Monte-Carlo Masters and spoke about the upcoming event as well.
Djokovic and Sinner both know Monaco well having lived here for many years. Sinner still calls it home while Djokovic somewhat relocated to Marbella in recent years but still owns property in the Principality. Ahead of the event they had a meeting with fans as well as speaking to the media with Djokovic saying:
"We've been here, we've been training. You can play most of the year outdoors. The country club is one of the nicest in the world."
Sinner added:
"Many many players are here. Especially in the offseason. You can change your partner and everything so it's very nice for us."
Djokovic then said some words about Sinner:
"I'm really glad to see him play. I know him since he was quite young. We practiced when he was quite small at the Academy not far from here so we go back a long time. Very nice guy I'm really glad he's doing well and of course, him and Alcaraz being so close age-wise you know it's the next big rivalry"
