Tennis is a brilliant sport but like in every sport luck plays a major factor and it did so during an ATP Challenger match in Antalya.
It's been a very interesting week in Antalya where an ATP Challenger is being held this week. The weather was not cooperating for the first two days with heavy rainfall causing the event to shut down. When it did not rain some matches were played but the conditions in which they were played were quite tough. There has been a lot of wind and thanks to the wind we saw some interesting stuff happen.
First of all, we saw an underhand ace after the wind twisted the ball too much for the player to successfully hit it. In another match, it delivered one of the luckiest winners of all time if not all-time in tennis. It happened during a match between Lee and Maroszan with the Hungarian hitting a ball that went flying up into the air. Both players struggled to find the ball initially but it did not go out.
It dropped in a very interesting way being carried heavily by the wind. Lee was not able to return it and the point went to Maroszan. It's quite a winner to behold and you should check it out for yourself. See below.
