Daniela Hantuchova sat down with Andy Murray to chat about many different things and now you can watch it.
Immediately at the start of the interview, Daniela asked Andy about something he might do after he retires from tennis which is match analysis. Andy spoke about his first commentary experience at Wimbledon and while he enjoyed it the long sit in the booth bothered him a bit. He said:
"I like analyzing matches and talking about strategy and tactics and stuff. So I like that side of the job not so much the commentary."
He was then asked whether he enjoyed the media attention in his career to which Andy said:
"When I first started on the tour I quite liked it, I didn't mind it. I was young and I didn't think about what I was saying so the British press enjoyed it at the start. Then I had several issues and I started feeling very nervous and anxious"
He was also asked how he kept his motivation during all these difficult times to which he responded:
"There has definitely been times over the last few years where I lost that, just because of the injuries and stuff like that and I haven't been working as hard as what I needed to."
The entire conversation is over 15 minutes long and you can check it out below. It is in two parts.
