VIDEO: Murray rolls back the years in Cincinnati

Andy Murray made a stellar return to tennis at the Western & Southern Open defeating a very solid Richard Gasquet 6-4 6-4.

The 1st round match of Andy Murray at the Masters in Cincinnati was his first singles match since losing to Denis Shapovalov in Wimbledon. Murray played at the Tokyo Olympics afterwards but decided against playing in the singles after advice from his medical team.

In Cincinnati, he truly put forward a great performance that at times looked like the Murray of old. In a highlights compilation posted by Tennis TV on Twitter Murray is showed winning points in several different ways. A lot of backhand winners, forehand winners, return winners.

It was a nostalgic performance from Murray which is something his fans and both neutral fans would like to see. The Tour has missed Murray and it would be great to have him back regularly on the Tour. Check it out below.
