"We are having a lot of fun on the court" - explains Djokovic on doubles success in Mallorca

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Gomez-Herrera are through to the semifinals of the Mallorca Championships after two impressive wins.

Djokovic forfeited a chance to play in the singles of the Mallorcan Championships taking part in the doubles draw instead. It proved a good decision as Gomez-Herrera and he are through to the semifinals. In the quarterfinals, they upset top seeds Zeballos and Granollers. After the win Djokovic said:

"We are having a lot of fun on the court. This was a huge win for us, beating one of the best doubles players in the world after losing the first set. I thought we played well even though we lost the first set."

It was the 2nd time in Mallorca the duo won a match in the 3rd set after an extended tiebreak. On that Djokovic said:

“Look, doubles on grass? Anything can happen really quickly. One or two shots can decide the winner, as was the case today. But Carly played really well when it mattered most. This was his win for sure.”
