Alexander Bublik channeled his inner Daniil Medvedev to lift Kazakhstan to the Davis Cup Finals quarterfinals with some heroics of his own.
Bublik played amazing tennis all week long securing very valuable points for his nation that ultimately allowed them to reach the quarterfinals where they will play Serbia. If Bublik wants to see his nation move further he will need to play some more heroic tennis but the Russian does not seem to mind.
He found inspiration in Medvedev and channeled his inner Medvedev after securing the crucial point quoting the Russian after the match.
The reporter asked him why does he play so well for Kazakhstan he simply responded:
"When you go to sleep, guys, know that I win because of you!"
