"Waiting to see if Roger Federer can come back" says former pro Fernando Gonzalez

He gave his thoughts on the youngster claiming that she will be fine despite everything seeming so tough at the moment. He was a bit more skeptical about the prospects of Roger Federer climbing back to the top as he like many is still waiting to see whether Federer can come back at all.

Speaking on the Swiss ace he said:

“To be without competition for several months last year was tough and now this year, there has still be problems traveling. Hopefully, we can go into next year and have a more normal tennis year because so many exciting things are happening in our sport. We are waiting to see if Roger Federer can come back"

The comeback of Roger Federer is not the only thing interesting Gonzalez as he continued:

"What happens with Rafa and you see Daniil Medvedev winning his first major. Then I like (Andrey) Rublev and (Jannik) Sinner. They have so much talent and can be successful in the game for many years to come”.
