Playing two matches in one day is a difficult task for every player and that's what the tennis players at the Winston-Salem Open had to do in order to be able to fight for the title.

In quarterfinal matches even three of the four matches had 3 sets and the winners went to the semi-final fights pretty tired.
Firs seeded Paire defeated Carreno-Busta in three sets as first. Milman and Johnson appeared second on the court. And it was the American who was able to turn the game even though Milman won the first set 6-4. The third match was the fastest when Shapovalov dealt with Rublev in two sets. And Hurkacz turned the match just like Johnson, after losing in the first set 6-4 with Tiafoe.
The first semifinal match was one of the strangest at the Winston-Salem Open. Paire and Johnson played three sets, but the longest lasted only 26 minutes!
In the first set, Johnson managed to win 6-1, and it looked like he would sweep the opponent off the court and get to the final. But the opposite was true. Paire won 12 games in a row and turned the match.
The second and third seeded met in the second semifinal match. Shapovalov did not lose a set in the tournament and wanted to retaliate after the loss at the Indian Wells earlier this year. However, he failed. Hurkacz didn't hesitate for a moment and won 6-3 and 6-4. In the final he will be able to win his first ATP title.
