World No.1 Swiatek and rising US star Shelton sign deals with Federer backed On for head to toe sponsorship

World number one Iga Swiatek and rising star Ben Shelton signed deals with On a company that is backed by Roger Federer and which created his signature shoe.

Federer has been involved with On for a few years backing them with an investment as well as lending his creative talent to design a signature shoe which they launched last year. The company now is seeking entry into the sport of tennis with the connections that Federer brings and they signed their first two players.

Iga Swiatek is the current number one and certainly a player that will be at the top of tennis for a very long time. She's quite excited about being sponsored by On saying:

"I'm very excited to be the first female player to join with On, and truly thrilled how On's Lightning innovation team works and adapts technologies to meet the demands of athletes, supporting their careers.It has been very inspirational for me to develop my ideas and needs with them, working on my current and future gear."

Besides Swiatek they also signed Ben Shelton who wil be wearing their stuff starting in Miami. Federer also commented on the additions saying:

"Iga and Ben represent the next generation of world-class talent. Both players demonstrate On's competitive spirit and embody current and future champions of the sport. We are pleased to welcome them to the On family."
