@ariastennis you got some sort of issue? Although I had no idea who you were before my mate messaged me 10 mins ago, I’d appreciate if you kept my name out of your mouth to keep you relevant… well at least to give you some form of credibility.
Nick Kyrgios responded to Jimmy Arias' comments about his early retirement.
Former tennis player Jimmy Arias recently spoke with Tennis Channel, discussing the current state of tennis. In the interview, he mocked Kyrgios, suggesting that he plays in few tournaments and could potentially have a career spanning 25 years.
“I don’t know what he’s talking about when he says this schedule is out of control. He’s played one match this year. He seems to take every other year off, so he should be able to play for another 25 years,” Arias said.
“I’m not sure [his] wrist, knee [or] his tattoo is hurting him too much [from playing] Pokemon maybe. I don’t know. The guy is so talented, he doesn’t really train, he doesn’t do all the things that are actually difficult and make it hard,” former world No. 5 added.
The Australian tennis player was not pleased with Arias' opinion and responded to him on Twitter.

A fan responded to Kyrgios, stating that Arias had reached the world No. 5 ranking:
"Lol 5 titles and slam semi final. That’s cute, at least have a better career then someone before you criticise them," Kyrgios said
Haha yeah? When who played? Hahahaha really strong era of tennis

At 27 years old, Kyrgios has achieved a career-best ranking of world No. 13, having won 7 singles titles (four ATP 500 and three ATP 250). He has also reached four finals, including the Cincinnati Open in 2017, where he fell to Grigor Dimitrov, and the memorable final of the 2022 Wimbledon, where he was defeated by Novak Djokovic in four sets.
In addition to his singles success, the Australian has also earned four doubles titles, with a particularly notable victory at the 2022 Australian Open alongside his friend Thanasi Kokkinakis.
