Roger Federer turned 42 yesterday at the Swiss ace posted a photo on Instagram to mark the occasion while joking about his age.
Federer is getting up there in age as the maestro turned 42 yesterday. Roger usually celebrates his birthdays during events but this year the Swiss ace was able to do it at home as he works his way back to his comeback. It should come shortly as Federer is set to return to the Laver Cup in a month.
To mark the occasion, Federer posted a photo of himself from the celebrations joking about his age:
"You know you're getting old when the candles cost more than the cake. Thanks for all the amazing birthday wishes."
He thanked all those who sent messages and there have been plenty of them. Fans can't wait to see him back on the courts again.
