"You should be embarrased" says Medvedev on cheating accusations

Daniil Medvedev defeated Fabio Fognini 6-2 3-6 6-2 to advance to the Olympic Games quarterfinals.

After the match Medvedev held a press conference where one reporter asked him a very dicey question. The player along with over 300 other Athletes are not competing under the Russian flag as Russia was banned from Athletics since 2015 due to state-sponsored doping.

Medvedev plays for the Russian Olympic Committee and when asked if Russian athletes carry the stigma of cheaters in sports he got angry. He lashed out:

“First time in my life I’m not gonna answer a question. You should be embarrassed by yourself. I think you should wire him from the Olympics, I don’t wanna see him again.”

Medvedev was not happy about the question and remained agitated for the remainder of the press conference. It's not yet known whether the reporter will get removed from the Olympics but most likely nothing will happen.
