Corentin
Moutet sarcastically reacted to a post about
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula
Badosa.
The tennis couple
of Badosa and Tsitsipas has garnered significant attention from spectators
since confirming their relationship in May of this year. The couple has been
openly sharing photos and videos together, and they even created a joint
Instagram account to post content together.
It caught
everyone's attention two days ago when the "Tsitsidosa" account
deleted all their posts together, sparking doubt among fans.
However,
since then, they have reassured their followers by sharing a picture of
themselves posing together in front of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, where Badosa
resides.
The image
was shared on social media by a French tennis site, who expressed relief at
seeing Stefanos Tsitsipas and
Paula Badosa in good spirits.
"Phew,
we are reassured, the Tsitsidosa couple still exists!" We Are Tennis
France posted.
"I had
lost sleep. Reassuring information," wrote former world No. 51 Corentin
Moutet.
The
relationship between Tsitsipas and Badosa has required them to find a balance
between their personal lives and their careers, as the Greek player commented
at the beginning of September.
"The
key is finding a balance between your private life, building something with
someone, and moving ahead in your career with that person’s help," he said
during his Davis Cup tie”
"Having
(Paula Badosa) in my life helps me a lot. It has changed my approach to the
sport in a way I never would have expected," former world No. 3 added.
Badosa, at
24 years old, ended her 2023 season after Wimbledon, where an injury forced her
to retire while playing the second round against Marta Kostyuk. On Tsitsipas'
side, he will be competing in the ATP 500 Beijing Open, where he will face
Nicolas Jarry in his debut match. The two players have a 2-2 record against
each other, with their last match taking place at the Los Cabos Open, a
tournament that Tsitsipas eventually won.
