Novak Djokovic after surviving a tough first set swept past Marton Fucsovics to move through to the third round of the
French Open.
Djokovic though has been under the microscope for different reasons with his comments on Kosovo garnering debate and also calls for him to be fined.
He spoke post match and fumed that he couldn't have a drama free Grand Slam amid incidents of course surrounding his vaccine status in the past two years.
While not making new comments, he also said that he has no issues speaking about a topic he stands for even if it is a controversial topic.
“I don’t mind saying that. I mean, I would say it again, but I don’t need to because you have my quotes if you want to reflect on that, Of course I’m aware that a lot of people would disagree, but it is what it is," said Djokovic to reporters.
"It’s something that I stand for. So that’s all. You know, drama-free Grand Slam (smiling), I don’t think it can happen for me. You know, I guess that drives me, as well."
