Andy Murray has even more reason to celebrate after his successful comeback to the tour saw him claim the European Open in Antwerp this past month.
His wife Kim has given birth to their third child in a hospital in London adding to girls Sophia, three and Edie, two and it was revealed by
The Sun that the gender of the child is a boy and that the name has yet to be decided.
Andy’s grandfather Roy Erskine, 88, told the newspaper: “It’s a wee boy.
“He was born during the week, I don’t know what his name is yet. My wife is away down, she went down this morning.”
There was previous fears that the birth would happen when Murray was involved in proceedings in Antwerp and that was the reason why he competed so he could rush back to London if necessary.
This did not happen and he went onto lift the title and now welcome a third child a few weeks later.
