ATP launches Fan Essay Contest for budding young writers

The ATP have launched a new Fan Essay Contest which asks for budding young writers of 18 and under to be potentially featured on their website.

They have revealed that they want essays of 500 words or less on a selection of tennis topics with the three winning entries which are chosen by the ATP being published.
The first topic which has been pitched is: ‘How has an ATP Tour player motivated or inspired you?’ The deadline to submit the first essay is Friday 1 May, 12 noon ET/ 5pm GMT
They will be judged based off four different criterias:
1 - Knowledge of the ATP Tour
2 - Message clarity
3 - Quality of expression
4 - Creative style
