ATP Ranking Update: Medvedev moves to career-high 5th place

Medvedev is playing in an excellent form when he reached the third final in a row and also won his first Masters 1000 title. He was rewarded for his great performances by moving to 5th place in the ATP ranking.

Although Roberto Bautista was out in Cincinnati already in the quarterfinals, he managed to achieve the TOP 10 ranking for the first time in his career.

Much has not changed in the first place, even before the Cincinnati tournament it was clear that Novak Djokovic will stay in no.1 position. He does have a comfortable nearly 4000 points lead ahead of Rafael Nadal.

Andrey Rublev was the biggest mover in the ranking when he moved by 23 positions after defeating Roger Federer at the Western & Southern Open. Also Yoshihito Nishioka, who beat Nishikori and performed great moved by 18 places.
