The Entry Lists have been released for the 2020 Shenzhen Open which sees preparation continue for the new season with the tournament at the Longgang Sports Center which begins on 5-11 January 2020.
Aryna Sabalenka is the current defending champion and she will be back to attempt to defend her crown. She is number two seed and is just behind Belinda Bencic due to rankings.
Elise Mertens is next up in third place with Wang Qiang, the highest ranked Chinese player in fourth seed.
Garbine Muguruza and Elena Rybakina are also among those involved further down in the seedings. Sabalenka and Mertens are potentially the standout pairing in the doubles in terms of pedigree.
Also Chinese pairing, Shuai Zhang and Shuai Peng will likely be dangerous as well as they attempt to win the title on home soil.
