Tennis fans clamoring for more tennis at the end of the year will have the opportunity to see their favorite stars in action during the off-season, following the announcement of a new, world-class exhibition event.
Coined 'A Racquet at the Rock', the exhibition will take place on one night only at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA. The world-class event is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025, after the conclusion of both the ATP and WTA season.
A handful of tennis stars often participate in these events at the end of the year, and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz has been a staple on the exhibition scene over the past year. The former World No.1 has been announced as the top star for the New Jersey exhibition, where he will face American Frances Tiafoe in singles action.
This is not the first time the duo have clashed in friendly matches, with both Alcaraz and Tiafoe participating in two previous exhibition matches; the Charlotte Invitational in December 2024 and Battle of Legends in March 2025.

Raducanu set to take on Anisimova

The WTA will be represented by former Grand Slam champion Emma Raducanu and 2025 Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova. Both ladies will battle it out in the second singles event that night, with the crowd sure to be split in support between the home hero Anisimova and fan-favorite Raducanu.
Raducanu is experiencing a resurgence of sorts as she slowly climbs back up the WTA rankings. The former World No.10 reached the semifinals at the DC Open, before falling to Anisimova in the third round at the 2025 Canada Open last month.
Anisimova shocked fans with an incredible run to the final at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships. After defeating World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinal, Anisimova was defeated by former World No.1 Iga Swiatek in straight sets.
Nonetheless, the New Jersey native reached her career-high ranking of World No.7 following her excellent performance at SW19, and has now reached three semifinals at Grand Slams, after previously reaching the final four at the French Open and again at this year's US Open.
