For the ladies, it's Fed Cup times and as Canada prepares to take on Switzerland in Biel all eyes are on Andreescu.

Bianca Andreescu hasn't played for 3 months after her knee injury. The 2019 US Open Champion is eagerly awaiting to return to the courts and as she arrived in Biel many speculated she might just do so this weekend. Canada's captain Heidi El Tabakh was unsurprisingly unwilling to disclose details of her fitness ahead of the clash:
"She’s been training, she’s been improving every single day. We know that for this tie, time is against her but she’s been making a lot of improvements and we have a couple more days here. As of right now, no decisions have been made."
The Captain also said that Bianca loves the Fed Cup competition and always feels very proud to represent her country. The Canadians don't have a top 100 player besides Andreescu although they have Genie Bouchard who as once just that. They do have an un and coming 17-year old who won the Roland Garros Junior Championship in 2017.
The captain spoke about her ahead of the tie:
"Leylah is one of our up-and-coming players. Last year she played her first Fed Cup tie when she was 16 years old when she was thrown into the arena against some of the best Czech players but she handled it very well."
The Swiss Captain Heinz Guendhardt assumes in his press conference the Andreescu will play or else she wouldn't be here and we tend to agree. If she plays Canada has a chance albeit a slim one but if she doesn't play the Swiss should have no issues winning this tie.
