While he is recovering from surgeries Roger Federer shifted his focus on designing shoes and his 1st one is ready.

Roger Federer is a man of many talents and while shoe designing isn't one that you might think of it's exactly what he has been up to lately. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, there is very little tennis and even if there weren't a pandemic Roger wouldn't be playing. His troublesome knee has been bothering him for some time and he decided to use this time to repair it and make it ready for next season.
Not being able to play tennis is hard for a man who dedicated his life to the game so he kept busy and he kept busy by designing his first shoe named "The Roger". Speaking about the project Roger said from Switzerland:
“Today is 17 years since I won my first Wimbledon title, so it is a special day for me anyway, and although I am obviously disappointed not to be there with you guys like I would normally be, I am delighted to show you the design of my first trainer, The Roger. I've been partnered with On for nearly a year now and I am really enjoying working with a Swiss brand that I have a real affection for.”
Speaking about what he is hoping to achieve with his shoe he said:
“What I would like is if people could wear these trainers in special moments in their life. Now that we are all slowly emerging from lockdown, I would hope people might wear these shoes on their world travels, to a pop concert, to one of my tennis matches, anywhere that makes them happy."
