Simona Halep's former longtime coach Darren Cahill will rejoin her team for the 2020 season and so was her joy in this that she posted a video on Twitter announcing it.

Halep said that she felt the best way to do it was to do a personal video to announce it. The Romanian who ended their partnership at the end of last year admitted though that he was never too far away and so is really glad that he is coming back full time.
"Darren told me that he's ready to start with me again for the next year; he just left it in my hands how I can announce," she said of the video. "I felt that I have to do a video, personal video, which I don't do very often. But for this thing, I thought it's the best way to announce."
"As everyone knows, Darren was not very far away from my career this year. He was in the background, helping me a lot - during Wimbledon the most. He is part of that success, for sure.
"I had no clear answer until after US Open, when he really told me that, '100% I can come back.' I didn't have it in my head that he's going to be for sure next year in my team, so I was waiting until he told me 100%.
"Since then I'm really happy and I feel confident that next year I can do some good things again."
