With the coronavirus spreading at an alarming rate, numerous people have been affected either directly or via loss of work due to travel restrictions.

The tennis community has already taken some unprecedented steps to "flatten out the curve" of the virus. Both the ATP and WTA have suspended all activities till June. Furthermore, Roland Garros has been postponed till September, precisely a week after the US Open.
This unexpected change in events has left a lot of WTA stars with free time on their hands. However, many have rallied behind their communities and engaged in philanthropic acts. Ranging from monetary donations to initiating fundraisers, they have all attempted to give back during this trying period.
American Madison Keys is also partaking in a charitable mission, as she attempts to spread kindness during this stretch of uncertainty. The World No.13 has partnered with Kindness Wins, a non-profit organization that emphasizes kindness to self and others.
Keys declared on Twitter that she would be giving away twenty $100 Visa gift cards to people in need. To be eligible, a person has to be nominated by someone else, and then the winners would be chosen at random. The deadline for the giveaway is by the day's end on Friday, March 20th, 2020.
