After arriving home, Dominic Thiem shared another message with the Austrian press when he spoke to the fans and told everybody to stay healthy and safe.

About a week ago, Dominic Thiem traveled home from Indian Wells where he wanted to defend the title. However, the tournament was cancelled and the Austrian remained sad as he left the message on social media saying:
"Unfortunately, we have to wrap up and leave without playing a tournament here in the states! I'm very sorry for all the fans and people who worked hard the entire year to make these tournaments special and unique. At the moment we have to accept the decision and do our best to keep everybody healthy and safe! I'm already looking forward to hit some balls again and will keep all of you updated as soon as I get some news!"
Today, Dominic is already at home and he keeps himself safe. Via the Austrian Press, Thiem shared a message saying:
“There are much more important things in our lives now and we all have to do our bit. Nevertheless, these are very drastic and dramatic measures for all players, but we must learn to deal with them. It is no fun for anyone not knowing what to do next.”
“We now have a target date, and I will start preparing for grass soon. Like everyone else in our country, I am at home and try to keep myself a bit fit there. When and how it resumes is still written in the stars. But the most important thing is: Stay healthy, everybody!”
